Well Im off to the United Kingdom for 4 weeks on Saturday stopping over at Dubai on the way there and back.

The original reason we were going was for a wedding, a BIG wedding, but we were notified last week that it would no longer be happening!!! Thats right; the daughter of the fam we know apparently called it off because she is 'involved' with someone else...hhmmmmmm. Kind of pissed at first, seeing as tho my siss is one of the brides maids and she's done a fair bit of prep for the occasion (eg. shes been on a 6 month weight loss program).

anyway they are still having a massive party because they already bought over 300 bottles of wine and they couldnt cancel one of the string quartet bands lol.

so yeah, its a bit of a bummer but who could turn down a holiday? (my wallet screams 'YOU!' i'll be venturing from the UK to Ireland, Scotland and maybe a weekend across the water to France.

as some of u know, i'll also be training it down to London for the Dark Knight UK premiere!!! yeayah. hopefully i'll get to see some famous faces n get a pic or two but it'l be tough, being the biggest film of the year..well maybe thats just me

hey all,

hope u r all well!! Thought I should let you know what happened to my cat Thomas.

Last week he must of got in a scuffle with another cat cuz he returned from outside with a couple of scratches on the right of his head. He didnt seem too bothered by it so we left it for a couple of days just bathing it with salt water once and while.

Anyway a few days later one of the scratches on his head seemed to be swelling so we took him to the vet. The doc diagnosis wasnt great so he had to get an opp to treat the absiss (cat type infection which can kill them).

So we got him back the next day all groggy and with half his face shaven with 2 pipes sticking out of his head to drain the excess fluid!!! hence "Frankencat". haha poor fella. I only took one shot of him cuz i didnt want bother him. He gets the pipes out today though so he'll look a bit more presentable hehe

anyway had to let some peeps know the cat goss stupid i know hehe imay have to post up a pic of him with and without pipes ewwww

hey!

No one ever reads these things of mine but i thought i'd write one anyway

So yeah I saw Harry Connick Jr and his big band in Canberra last night with me siss n a couple of other friends and it was sooooo coooool! Our seats we about 6 rows from the front He's such a great showman....crackn jokes.....talkn bout his family n his daughters obsession with koalas lol.....playn smooth New Orleans tunes like the Bason Street Blues'...dunt get much better.

The crowd was quite mature....as in, i was verging on the youngest person there...but that didnt bother me....music with culture, music from the heart, can be enjoyed by anyone.

Well i got back from the Formula One in Melbourne yesterday and its back to the daily grind lol

Flew down with a couple of mates on weds for a behind the scenes tour of pit lane at Albert Park. It was rad as, pitty there were no drivers to see other than Liuzzi and Sutil.

The actual gp started on friday with practice, qualifying and then the race on Sunday arvo. Almost every day was scorching weather wise, ranging from lows of 30 degreesC to 40+. At the end of each day we were so spent since we were at the track the whole time.

The race on sunday was awesome, we were positioned on the straight at the last marker on the grid. Ran on the track after Hamilton won and got some mad shots and footage.

Wanted to hang around for KISS after the race but it didnt start for another 2 hours n we were almost passing out. Actually heard them finally come on when we reached the exit gates, a km away from the stage. I think they opened with that CSI Miami number 'Who are u". oh well.

Held up the plane on the way home too (nooo, like we made them wait for us cuz we were late) oops!lol. We were just a little late to check in and realised when we walked into the airport that perhaps some other 5000 people had the same idea as us of travelling back the next day Haha. they called our names on the pa/mic too lol, first time for me hehe!
